We met at the North Bend Starbucks at 7:30 and left from the Alta Trailhead by 9am. There was little snow on the ground until well above Rachel Lake. Visibility was poor and we missed the turnoff for the Alta Ridge so we ascended the ridge via a tree-covered gully near Lila Lake. We reached the summit by 2pm. We saw one other hiker on the way in and two on the way out.
